Program Description

CLARA is an AI voice agent for service businesses. When a business owner signs up at yourclara.com, they receive automated SMS notifications about incoming leads and appointment confirmations to their registered business phone number.

How Users Opt In

During account registration, users see an optional SMS consent checkbox. The exact checkbox, as shown in the screenshot below on this page, reads:

This checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. Users can complete registration and use CLARA without opting in to SMS. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase or service use.

This consent checkbox is unchecked by default and is optional. Consent is not required to create an account or use CLARA.

Opt-In Flow Walkthrough

Below is the exact opt-in experience as it appears to users during registration at yourclara.com:

Step 1: User visits yourclara.com and clicks "Get Started Free"

User enters their business email and receives a verification code.

Step 2: User completes the registration form

User provides their name, business name, phone number, and industry.

Step 3: User sees the optional SMS consent checkbox (unchecked by default)

The checkbox is unchecked by default. Users may complete registration without checking it. SMS consent is entirely optional.

Step 4: Links to Privacy Policy and Terms are visible on the form

Links to Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are displayed alongside the SMS consent checkbox.

Users who do not check the SMS consent box can still use CLARA for call answering, lead qualification, and appointment booking. They simply will not receive SMS notifications. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase or service use.

Message Types

Users receive the following types of SMS messages:

  • Lead notifications when CLARA handles an incoming call (caller name, phone number, issue description, urgency level)
  • Appointment confirmations (date, time, service type)
  • Appointment rescheduling and cancellation confirmations
  • Account and service update notifications

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on inbound call volume. Users may receive multiple messages per day during busy periods. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-Out

Users may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message received from CLARA. After opting out, users will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent. To resume messages, reply START.

Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number and SMS opt-in data are used solely to deliver CLARA service notifications. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your mobile phone number or any information collected through our SMS program with any third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Supported Carriers

CLARA SMS messages are supported by all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and other participating carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
